Republicans holding ground against public option, but does it even matter?

It doesn’t matter though. Republicans at this point are a worthless commodity in the legislative process. You know what else wasn’t a bipartisan initiative? Oh yeah, that thing.
No, the only chance we have to stop Obama’s attempt at obliterating private insurance as we know it is if Democrats stand their ground against the public option.
Sorry Mr. Grassley – unless something drastic happens in 2010, “bipartisan” is about as meaningless a word as – well, everything else Obama has said.
